Seal

British singer Seal is known for his velvety voice and strong stage charisma. His music is primarily soul and soulful pop. Seal’s career, which began in the early 1990s, has earned him four Grammy Awards, and his albums have sold over 30 million copies.

Seal is also a songwriter. His most successful track is the timeless hit “Kiss from a Rose,” remembered especially from the film Batman Forever. Other well-known songs by Seal include Killer and Crazy, the breakthrough hit from his debut album. Seal has also released an album on which he interprets classic songs from the golden age of soul.

Seal’s first visit to Finland took place at Pori Jazz in the summer of 2016. Now, ten years later, he returns once again to our country and to Kirjurinluoto.
