Traveling to Pori and Kirjurinluoto is easy with different traveling methods

Train

Traveling to Pori by train is easy. Extra trains from Pori to Tampere, which go to the main track after the main concerts at night on Friday and Saturday. Extra train from Helsinki to Pori is on Saturday daytime, so that the visitors have enough time to go to Kirjurinluoto main concert when it starts. The tickets will be on sale later in the spring!

Bus

Most buses coming to Pori from further away will go through the Travel Center straight to Kirjurinluoto, where buses will also leave after the concerts end. So when the bus arrives visitors can choose whether they want to take an about 2km walk to Kirjurinluoto or if they want to go all the way to Kirjurinluoto on the bus. We will add information about available bus rides, as time goes and they become available.

Jumbobus drives from Helsinki to Pori and in the evening back through road 3 on the main concert days, the stops are as follows: Helsinki (Kiasma ordered drive stop), Ruskeasuo, Keimola, Hyvinkää ABC, ABC Riihimäki, ABC Tervakoski, ABC Tiiriö, ABC Toijala, Ideapark, ABC Tampere Pirkkala. Onnibus coaches are available from Helsinki, Turku and Tampere. There are also additional busses departing from Kirjurinluoto at night after the main concerts.

Own Car

Next to the concert park there is a parking area for visitors arriving by their own car. The price for the day parking is 15 €, the parking area will take card payments. Parking will be free for Volvos, because Volvo is a Pori Jazz partner and it offers this benefit for festival visitors.

All car traffic, meaning buses and private cars, are going to be directed through the E8-road (Vaasa, Turku) when entering and leaving Kirjurinluoto. Cars coming from the north through road 8 (Vaasa) will find an intersection in the address Länsitie 175 and from the south (Helsinki, Turku) will find an intersection in the address Länsitie 166.

The bridge Raumansilta, which comes from Pori center to Kirjurinluoto will only be available for people traveling on bike or on foot during the main concert days. Please view a map and follow guides after turning from road 8.
