Pratt & Moody (FI)

Pratt & Moody is a Finnish roots music duo consisting of singer Tuomo Prättälä and guitarist Markus Nordenstreng. For both artists, Americana—roots music based on the American musical tradition—is a true passion, with a particular love for the soul ballads of the 1960s. Backing the duo is the Stylart/Timmion house band Cold Diamond & Mink.

Tuomo Prättälä has worked within the Finnish soul and R&B scene for nearly two decades. His debut single Don’t Take It Too Hard was released in 2007. Markus Nordenstreng is also a long-established musician who has released three solo albums. He has collaborated with music legends such as Kris Kristofferson and Levon Helm.
