Children and Youth

Most Pori Jazz concerts are open to all ages.

However, the main concerts are 18+, with the exception of the non‑alcoholic family area located next to the Main Stage. Children under 12 may enter the family area free of charge when accompanied by a ticket‑holding adult guardian, and visitors aged 12–17 can enter with a youth ticket. All Main Stage performances can be enjoyed from the family area, but there is no visual or audio access to the other stages.

The evening concerts at Café Pori Jazz are 18+.

Personal assistants

A personal assistant may enter free of charge using the assisted person’s ticket when the assisted person holds a standard day ticket and can present one of the following: an EU Disability Card with the A marking, a visual impairment card (minimum 75% impairment), or a medical certificate. One (1) assistant may enter free of charge per assisted person. The assistant’s wristband will always correspond to the ticket type of the assisted person. If the assisted person holds a Satakunnan Kansa Lounge or Pori Jazz VIP ticket, the assistant will be charged the difference between the standard day ticket and the upgraded ticket.

When arriving at the main concerts with your assistant, please proceed to the wristband exchange point located near the entrance gate. There you can exchange your ticket for wristbands for both yourself and your assistant.

The main concert area also has general assistants who help festival visitors particularly with accessibility-related needs. These assistants are volunteers from the Southwest Finland Assistant Centre and are primarily located near the elevated wheelchair viewing platform and accessible toilet facilities. They can be identified by their blue assistant vests. A volunteer assistant can also be requested in advance. The Assistant Centre provides volunteer assistants for people with mobility, visual, or developmental disabilities, as well as for individuals with memory disorders. Requests must be made at least three working days in advance by calling 02 251 8549, available during summer from Mon–Thu 9:00–12:00.

The Main Stage area includes an elevated viewing platform for wheelchair users. Other stages also offer plenty of seating areas that can be accessed with a wheelchair. The festival area includes accessible toilet facilities. For the exact location of accessible seating within the main audience area, visitors are advised to ask at the gate for the most up‑to‑date guidance.

If the event is cancelled entirely by the organizer, tickets may be refunded or transferred to the following year.
