The first-ever Tour de Jazz cycling event takes place in Pori on Wednesday, 14 July 2027. Tour de Jazz is a new cycling event that uniquely combines physical activity, memorable experiences, and the vibrant atmosphere of a summer festival. The event hub will be located in the Eteläranta area adjacent to Jazzkatu, from where participants will set off by bicycle to explore the region’s fascinating natural and cultural attractions.
The aim of the event is to offer participants an engaging way to experience Pori and its surroundings as part of Finland’s most renowned jazz festival. Tour de Jazz will bring together cycling enthusiasts, tourists, and everyone interested in active and memorable summer experiences.
The event is being developed with a long-term vision of establishing Tour de Jazz as a permanent part of the Pori Jazz programme and growing it into a nationally recognized annual cycling event. At the same time, it promotes an active lifestyle and showcases the diverse nature, culture, and tourism attractions of the Satakunta region in a responsible way.
Tour de Jazz will be organized in cooperation with Pori Jazz, with the goal of complementing Pori’s summer event offering through a new, community-oriented, and experience-driven event concept.
More information about the routes, programme, and registration will be announced at a later date.
