old school soul & uncut funk

Finland has produced in the last few years an awesome amount of classy soul acts, but none of them play such raw old school stuff as this 12-strong band that truly kicks ass. The powerful-voiced Miss Saana and her Missionaries " call them soul preachers" have only just put out their debut album Yes, We Are!, but pretty much everybody seems to love it. And why wouldn't they as the band has great original songs and really knows how to deliver them. Still, as great as the album is, to get truly baptized, you need to experience them live, while shaking your booty in reckless abandon.
