Security Check and Forbidden Items
Security checks will take place at every gate at the Kirjurinluoto Concert Park after ticket inspection. If you leave the Concert Park during the day, you will have to go through the security check again upon re-entering the area. We aim to to guarantee that the security check is as swift as possible but in order to reduce queueing times, we kindly ask you to head to the Concert Park well ahead of the scheduled starting time of your favourite artist's concert. We also encourage our festival-goers to refrain from unnecessarily leaving and re-entering the Concert Park to prevent long queues from forming at the gates.
You are NOT allowed to bring with you to the Concert Park
- Glass bottles and containers
- Sharp utensils (such as knives) and blades
- Animals and pets (guide dogs are allowed to enter the Concert Park)
- Umbrellas (please bring a raincoat instead)
- tents, camping shelters and other large structures that might prevent visibility
You ARE allowed to bring with you to the Concert Park
- Food items
- Non-alcoholic drinks and beverages in unopened bottles, cans, and containers, NO glass bottles
- Empty bottles (you can fill them up at the free water taps located across the venue)
- Camping stools
- Untensils, no glass or sharp knives
Food and Drinks
The Main Concerts at the Kirjurinluoto Concert Park are known as laid-back, picnic-style summer events and festival-goers are more than welcome to bring their own food to the Park. However, we do not allow any alcoholic beverages bought outside of the Concert Park in the festival area.
You may purchase non-alcoholic and and alcoholic beverages at the service areas located across the Concert Park. You may bring NON-alcoholic drinks with you to the Concert Park in unopened containers, no glass bottles or containers. You can also bring empty water bottles and fill them at the free water taps located across the Concert Park.
We kindly ask all our patrons to pay special attention to cleanliness and recycling, and dispose all waste in designated bins and recycling containers.
Each gate has a cloakroom, €2/item, cash only. We request that you pay attention to which cloakroom you used to store your belongings to make your journey home easier.
The Main Concerts (Thu 19th - Sat 21st July) at the Kirjurinluoto Concert Park are for all ages. Children over 12 years of age must have their own ticket, younger children are allowed to enter with a ticketholding parent or guardian. The legal age for drinking in Finland is 18, alcohol will not be served to minors. All service areas designated for serving alcohol are strictly for patrons over the age of 18 only.
Radio Aalto Lounge and VIP area are PG-18 due to licensing laws.
Concerts at Cafe Jazz are PG-18 due to licensing laws.
Services for the Disabled and Handicapped
Disabled parking is available close to the gate adjacent to the parking lot. Personal assistants will be granted free access to the festival area. A raised viewing platform for wheelchair users is located at the Main Stage. All three stages have plenty of seating close to the stage for people with reduced mobility. Handicapped lavatories are also available within the Concert Park. The festival staff are happy to help with questions regarding the location of these services and facilities.
This year a number of volunteer assistants from The Centre of Assitance of Southwestern Finland will be working at the Kirjurinluoto Concert Park to help patrons with disabilities. You will recognise them by the blue vest. This service is made available in collaboration with The Centre of Assistance of Southewestern Finland and Satakunnan Yhteisökeskus (Community Centre of Satakunta Region).
Lost and Found
You may inquire about any lost items at the Info Desk at the Concert Park. We will be forwarding any uncollected items to the Satakunta Region Lost and Found Agency (Address: Isolinnankatu 7, 28100 PORI | tel. +358 (0)600 14111 | www.satatavara.fi).
