Age limits
There are no age limits to the following venues: Kirjurinluoto Arena, Pori theatre and Radio Nova Stage.
There is an age limit of 18 to the following venues: LP45!, Otava Factory, Ultra Music Nights, Klubi-Klubben, Klubi-Klubben Garden and Cafe Jazz.
Children under 12 years are allowed to the Kirjurinluoto Arena concerts with their parent’s tickets for free. If a child needs an own seat in an indoor venue, s/he needs a ticket. The underage children are not allowed to enter the venues even with their own parents after 10pm. It is advisable to keep your ID card with you in case you are needed to prove your age. As official identification documents are considered drivers licence, passport or ID card with picture.

Bottles
You may enjoy the picnic atmosphere in Kirjurinluoto Arena but we hope that you avoid bringing glass bottles to the area.

Camping and caravan areas
There are different kinds of camping and caravan area options, both near to the festival area or close to the sea. Read more about the accommodation possibilities here.

Cash machines and bank/credit cards
Some of the shops in the festival area don’t accept bank or credit cards, so it is advisable to keep some cash in your pocket. The bank cards and the most common credit cards are accepted in the bars and restaurants of the festival area. At the Pori Jazz office and ticket office also Visa Electron is accepted. The nearest cash machine is located in the market square of Pori. Take a closer look to the map here.

Children
Pori Jazz Kids festival is arranged especially for children. You may find more information about that here.

Cloakrooms
There are two cloakrooms in the Kirjurinluoto Arena; one at the main gate and the other at gate nearby Pormestarinsilta-bridge. There are chargeable cloakrooms at LP45! and Otava Factory as well. The fee is 2 euros.

Dogs
It is not advisable to bring dogs to the festival area because of the sound pressure and crowdedness. It is forbidden to bring dogs to the Jazz Street, but it is allowed in Kirjurinluoto Arena if the dog is leashed but only with own responsibility of the owner.

Drink coupons
It is possible to order drink coupons, which are valid in every restaurant of Kirjurinluoto Arena as well as LP45!, in advance from Sodexo or buy them directly from the bars at the venue. First aid
In the Kirjurinluoto area there is a first aid point nearby the Pormestarinsilta-bridge. On the Jazz Street the first aid point is situated close to Satakunnan Museo.

Handicapped persons
The assistant of a person using wheelchair may enter Kirjurinluoto Arena with the same ticket. There are wheelchair accessible toilets in the festival area, and also a possibility to enjoy the concert from a platform from where there is a good visibility to the stage. Ask more info at the gate when arriving to the concert.

Information
The information point at the Kirjurinluoto Arena is situated about 50 metres away from the main gate towards the festival area. On the Jazz Street there is a information point just in front of Satakunta Museum.

Lost and found items

The items found from the festival area has been delivered to the Satakunta Lost and Found (Satakunnan Löytötavaratoimisto) in Pori, where they can be enquired from the number +358 600 14111 (1,68€/min+pvm). The office is open on Mon 2pm-6pm and Tue-Fri 9.30am-4.30pm. You can also visit the office at Itsenäisyydenkatu 27, Pori. Satakunnan Löytötavaratoimisto charges a fee for a found item. The items can also be sent back by mail for a little fee. The items will be stored for 3 months.

Opening hours
The opening times of the concerts are normative. Although the opening time of the venue is informed, the concert itself may end earlier. The gates of Kirjurinluoto Arena, as well as the ticket sale, open 2 hours before the concert. The evening clubs open at least 30 minutes before, and the ticket sale 1 hour before the concert starts.

Parking places
We recommend you to park your cars in Kirjurinluoto Arena parking area. The fee is 5€/day (cash only). The parking place is secured during the concerts. There is no night guarding. To find your way there with the help of a navigator, type in the address: Länsitie 425 Pori (or Länsitie 160 Pori). Print out the driving instructions here.

Regional transportation
Leave your car at home and use public transportation! Porin Linjat Coach Company will arrange some extra connections for example between the city centre and Yyteri in addition to the normal routing during the Jazz festival. More information about the schedules here.

Restaurant services
There are restaurants at Kirjurinluoto Arena, LP45!, Klubi-Klubben and Café Jazz. On the Jazz Street the restaurants are focused in one area called Food Market which is situated in between Antinkatu and Raatihuoneenkatu streets. There are two bigger restaurants at the Art Museum block.

Table reservations
The persons who have bought tickets to Café Jazz concert can make table reservations (bigger groups only), tel. +358 2 641 1344 or +358 40 724 3439. The persons who have bought the tickets to Klubi-Klubben can make table reservations (groups over 6 persons), +358 2 634 0200.

Taxis
The nearest taxi stand to Jazz Street can be found close to the City Hall from Hallituskatu Street. The nearest taxi stand at Kirjurinluoto area is close to the main gate of Arena, LP45! and Pormestarinsilta bridge. The number to Pori Taxi Service is 0600 30033. Ticket sales
Pori Jazz concert tickets are sold in Ticketmaster Company Lippupalvelu through the telephone sales service 0600 10800 or 0600 10020, online shop, and the ticket offices around Finland. During the festival the Pori Jazz ticket office is in the Satakunta Museum, in the address Hallituskatu 11 (please note: access also on the other side of the building from the Jazz Street, Eteläranta 12). The ticket office is open daily July 12th-16th from 10 am to 5 pm and July 17th-25th from 10 am to 10 pm. Tickets are also sold at the venues. The ticket sales start at Kirjurinluoto Arena 2 hours and at the clubs 1 hour before the concert.

Transportation connections
Leave your car at home and come to Pori Jazz by public transportation! VR (Finnish state railway) and different bus companies will arrange some extra connections to Pori in addition to the normal routing during the Jazz festival. VR trains, Matkahuolto busses.

WLAN
The wireless internet connection (WLAN) of the city of Pori is public and open for use on the Jazz Street and Kirjurinluoto area.
