It’s easy to think that Paperi T is under a lot of pressure. This Helsinki-based rapper’s debut album Malarian pelko, released in 2015, was an instant hit and became one of the most hyped things within the Finnish music industry. Paperi T’s unique sound and personal lyrics raised the newcomer among the biggest rappers in the country. In addition to a number one album and sold out concerts he was awarded with the Teosto prize. Summer 2018 sees the coming of his sophomore album which has been told to contain something different to his first one which was riddled with lyrics drawing inspiration from insecurity and anxiety. There seems to be no signs of pressure, not if you have a look at the title of the first single of the album: “Kaikki on hyvin” (Everything’s fine).
